TImeToast – Interactive Timelines

TimeToast is another online tool for creating interactive timelines.  Similar to MeoGraph, MyHistro, and Dipity, timetoast is pretty straightforward to use and can create some clean, interactive timelines.  Timetoast is free, though students to have to log in.

Project Based Learning (PBL): Timetoast is another deliverable idea for not just history projects, but any projects that involve change over time.  One student studying music, for example, used a timeline to show the changes in the shape, structure, and construction of the violin.  You could also use it to show science concepts or data results as the play out in ‘real time’ or even a forecasted prediction – like a Malthusian decline.
